Trondhjems Sailing Association (TSF) was founded in 1895. It has been full of activity in the association since, except during the years 1940-1945. The Association currently has almost 750 members who sail around. 230 boats. Trondhjems Yacht Club is affiliated to the Norwegian Sailing Federation and is the largest middle. Association clubhouse located at Skansen, with a great marina outside. It also has a port Ravnkloa.
Sailing Season in Trøndelag stretches from late April to early October. It held dinghy sailing and regattas for keelboats. In addition, there are also a number of regattas on weekends. There has been growing regatta and dinghy activity in recent years. The association has several active Yngling sailors, including and currently one of the largest fleets this entypebåten.
