Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
eNorwegian is committed to a safe, spam-free experience for everyone who uses the site. This policy explains what we consider spam, how we try to prevent it, and what happens when it occurs.
What Counts as Spam
- Unsolicited messages — unwanted commercial emails or messages sent through the site to users who haven't requested them.
- Irrelevant content — content posted in a listing, review, or submission that has nothing to do with the business in question.
- Repetitive posts — the same content submitted multiple times, or excessive promotional material.
- Phishing — attempting to obtain sensitive information such as passwords or financial details through deceptive means.
- Malware — sharing links or content containing viruses or other harmful software.
How We Try to Prevent It
- Content moderation — submissions such as claims, edit suggestions, and reviews are reviewed before they affect a published listing.
- Automated filtering and rate limiting to reduce automated or bulk submissions.
- User reporting — tools that let visitors flag suspicious or spammy content.
What Happens to Violators
- Content identified as spam is removed.
- Repeated violations may result in submission privileges from that source being limited or revoked.
- We reserve the right to take further action, including legal action, against anyone who engages in serious or persistent abuse of the platform.
