Business Verification Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
Every listing on eNorwegian displays a verification status so visitors know how current and trustworthy the information is.
Verification Statuses
- Verified — the listing's details have been confirmed as accurate as of the “Date Verified” shown on the listing.
- Claimed — the business owner or an authorized representative has claimed the listing and can keep it up to date.
- Pending Verification — a claim or edit has been submitted and is awaiting review.
- Unverified — the listing has not yet been claimed or independently verified; treat details as a starting point and confirm directly with the business.
How Verification Happens
Business owners can verify their own listing by using Claim This Business on the listing page. Anyone can also help keep listings accurate using Suggest an Edit or Report Incorrect Information. All submissions are reviewed by our team before a listing's information or verification status changes.
Data Source and Last Updated
Each listing's “Listing Information” panel also shows its data source and when it was last updated, so you can judge how current the information is.
