Waterfront rooms, outstanding cuisine, friendly service. Brekkestranda Fjord Hotel was designed by renowned architect, bear Simonnæs in 1970. The entire property is constructed overusing Norwegian pine and 1100 unique windows of various shapes and sizes, with a living roof. It's a breathtaking waterfront experience. Overlooking the Sognefjord, this hotel is in the village of Brekke, 5 minutes from the European Route E39.

Most rooms have full or partial fjord views with either a private balcony or patio.

Brekkestranda's waterfront restaurant serves tantalizing dishes based on traditional local fare. Featuring domestically caught seafood, all-natural beef and locally-grown produce, we dish up authentic English fare. In Addition, innovative cocktails and drinks are served at The Woodshed, our full-service bar.

We offer a broad spectrum of activities fishing, hiking, fjord safari, diving, biking, museum tours, team building, quiz nights, darts, and dance. The hotel is located an hour and a half due north of Bergen in Brekke, Norway. We are located the vicinity of a market, post office and gas station. We have 29 unique rooms, all shaped and decorated differently. Great outdoor scenery with hiking trails directly from hotel grounds and fishing from the hotel dock on the Sognefjord.
