Haugesund Ju-Jutsu Klubb

Haugesund Ju-Jutsu club is a member of the Norwegian Martial Arts Association, Ju-Jutsu section. Jujutsu (jujitsu, ju jitsu, ju-Jitsu) is a generic term for methods of struggle dating back to the Japanese samurai. In Norway practiced ju jutsu both as a martial art, martial arts and self defense. The term "ju" refers polarities and can be translated with soft, supple, flexible and "jutsu" of technique, skill or skill.

Jujutsu in practice:

Jujutsu practiced mostly as various self defense systems around the world, developed outside Japan. The systems often contain a variety of defense techniques with punches, kicks, grip and throw in combinations.
Jujutsu training gives athletes a huge arsenal of self-defense and fighting techniques. Initially trained including appropriate fall techniques. Release tournaments, parades, punch / kick, hold / lock grips and closures / throws, etc., also taught for a progressive curriculum. Agreed self defense techniques practiced with a partner and includes methods for both distance and by body contact.
